The Southington Water Department with the assistance of Wright-Pierce, the Department’s engineering consultant, J.J. Brennan Construction and Ludlow Construction, will begin replacing water main and lead goosenecks this summer on Berlin Street, Lacey Drive, Vermont Avenue, Vermont Court, Vermont Terrace, Academy Lane and Oak Street.  These infrastructure improvements will replace aging infrastructure, improve fire protection, increase water distribution within our system and remove lead gooseneck services.

As a result, you will unfortunately experience lane and road closures, service interuptions and periods of inconvience during this period.   The Department along with its contractors, will provide appropriate notification to all customers that will be effected by these activities.
