Collection Procedures

  • Collection Procedures

    • All accounts in arrears after 30 day payment period will receive a "Second Notice" which will include the past due amount for the water plus penalties.
    • The "Second Reminder" is a reminder that the account is delinquent.
    • If payment is not received within 30 days of the "Second Reminder", the account will receive a "Final Notice".
    • Customer is given 15 days to make payment or payment arrangements.
    • The "Final Notice" will contain information/instructions on what a customer should do to avoid water service termination.
